  1. Vaida, what's your happy place?
I think my happy place is my dad’s sailing boat. I always say that I grew up on a sailboat — since we would spend warm summer evenings sailing this beautiful lake not far from the city. When I grew older, sailing became my hobby that I enjoyed a lot. To this day, although I don’t go sailing so often, being on the boat makes me feel so free, safe and the most myself. This sport gave a lot to my character and if I’m asked to tell something about myself, the first thing that comes out usually is "I’m a sailor” and psychologist and … :D

  1. What could you give a 40-minute presentation on with absolutely no preparation?
I believe I could give a 40 minutes presentation on psychosis or depression with no preparation. I know... that sounds very random, but since I worked at a Psychiatric hospital for a while now and it is my field of interest, I believe I could pull that off with no preparation.

  2. The soundtrack to your life is...
This is a very difficult question. I’m strange with music. I've never had a favorite band or even music style. I can listen to almost anything. I guess I don’t care much about music... Usually, I have the radio in my car set to BBC radio :D.  I know... boring.

  3. What was the last book you read?
    "The Day the Voices Stopped”

  4. What book title best describes your life?
    "Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland”

  5. What is the luckiest thing that has ever happened to you?
I was born in my family. No, seriously, sometimes I think about that... I’m very lucky to have such loving, supporting, understanding, encouraging, and open-minded parents. I truly believe that they are the most wonderful people that I have ever met and I am blessed to be their kid.

  6. What is something that your friends would consider “so you”?
Organising, planning and taking care of things. I think people who know me well would say that this is very much my thing.

  7. What are you scared of?
I’m scared of losing. I’m very competitive... :D

  8. Your biggest pet peeve.
When I’m in the public transport that is almost empty and someone wants to sit next to me. That is so annoying.

  9. What is your earliest memory?
Me and my brother drawing a huge pig and crocodile on the wall of the first apartment we lived in. The artwork was in the main corridor on the way to the kitchen. We were very proud and (as far as I can recall) we didn’t even get in any trouble for that.

  10. Who is your best friend and why?
I’m very blessed with people around me and I was very lucky to meet and get to know some wonderful people that now I call not just my best friends, but also my family. Although I have to say that Giedre is someone who has always been there for me. We don’t live in the same city and even same continent for the most of the time, but she is someone who is always very close to me. She is my person. She is probably the one person that knows the most about me and the one who I can count on not just to be there for me, and support me, but also to ground me, not just to say good things, but be true and say what needs to be said. I believe, that I do that for her too.

  11. If you could have a dinner with one person, living or dead, who would that be?
My grandfather. He passed away more than 10 years ago.

  12. I start my morning by…
Warm water with lemon and tasty breakfast. Although my best mornings used to start with a coffee place in Vilnius old town. I would meet my great friend and co-worker (at that time) for a 7 a.m. coffee before work. I loved those mornings very much...

  13. Who’s your female role model?
My mom! My God, we can drive each other crazy sometimes but I love and adore her very much! She is an inspiration and the strongest person I know.

  14. Your go-to look.
All black everything. Black skinny jeans, oversized t-shirt + oversized sweater.
