At The Knotty Ones, we're all about ensuring quality, promoting transparency, enforcing sustainable practices and ethical approach.
While we gladly make tweaks to make sure your knit fits perfectly, this also means extra time for reworking knit structure, training knitters and sourcing materials. We charge a small fee to account for that.
Please note all custom items are designed specifically for you and are final sale.
Now with each purchase, you can choose to donate €10 directly towards a dream of a woman who made your knit.
The Knotty Ones was started with the dream to provide stable jobs, fair wages and financial independence to women, mostly stay-at-home moms in rural areas of Lithuania, who otherwise would not have these opportunities in life.
We make sure that our knitters earn enough to provide themselves and their families with the basics of a decent life — be it a warm meal on their dinner table, school supplies for their kids, medical care, clothing, paying electricity bills or housing. While we wish we could increase our knitters' salaries beyond just a fair wage, the reality of operating a small independent label with design, marketing and premium material costs does not necessarily allow us to do so.
We wanted to create a platform that gave our knitters a realistic shot at achieving their bigger, wilder dreams.

While most orders are shipped the next business day, some colors and sizes are made to order, hence can take up to 9 business days for your new knit to be picked from our knitters by DHL. Once your order is shipped, we estimate you will receive your order within 1-6 business days of its ship date, depending on your location and a shipping method you picked. Shipping times may vary, but rest assured we work our hardest to get you your order as quickly as possible.
Please note that DHL is expecting 1 day shipping delay outside of the EU starting December 1st, 2020.
We offer free standard shipping worldwide on all orders above 100 EUR.
Returns & Exchanges
We want to make sure you love our pieces. If you'd like a different size, or choose another direction altogether, we are here to help, just get in touch with us.
If you want to return something, just drop us an email at email@example.com. Please include your order number and the reason for your return. We'll happily accept unworn, unwashed and unaltered merchandise in sellable condition with original tags attached for a full refund shipped out within 14 days of you receiving the item.
Please note that all custom-sizing items are on final sale, meaning they cannot be returned, refunded, exchanged or altered.
