This handcrafted mini dress draws inspiration from the timeless Lithuanian folk tale of "Eglė, the Queen of serpents." The classic fairytale narrative interweaves elements of bravery, transformation, and an unwavering connection with nature, encapsulating the essence of Baltic folklore.

To achieve the body-hugging silhouette, our knitters use progressively larger knitting needles as they work from top to bottom in crafting the dress. This technique, unique to hand knitting, creates a shape that molds to your form.

Please note that Eglė knit is made-to-order.  The production timeline encompasses up to 14 working days for our skilled knitters to meticulously craft your sweater and for us to efficiently process your order.

51% merino wool, 49% cotton. Cruelty free.

    Dry clean. Store folded.

What's better than a sustainably sourced knit? A sustainably sourced knit with free worldwide shipping and free exchanges.

We're climate neutral certified, which means that not only is all of our packaging sustainable, but we also work with non-profits to offset our shipping carbon footprint. We want to make sure you love our pieces as much as we do.

If for some reason you'd like to return a piece altogether, we'll always accept unworn, unwashed and unaltered knits with original tags attached. Head to our FAQ for more details.

While we do have a small inventory of our handmade pieces ready to ship immediately, please note some sizes & colors are made-to-order and might take up to 14 business days to ship.

We don't believe in deadstock. All of our Eglė knits are produced in small batches by female artisans in rural Lithuania. One piece alone can take anywhere from 7 to 9 days to knit by hand. Wanna put a face to a name? You'll also receive a card about the knitter who made your dress.

For the knit, we use 100% natural yarn, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used, made from a luxurious merino wool and cotton blend. The yarn is soft and cruelty-free. Our artisans use a technique of one single thread for the entire dress, meaning there is virtually no fabric scarps or waste.

Designed in collaboration with SIGGA kNITWEAR

For this limited edition knit, we are teaming up with SIGGA KNITWEAR, a UK-based independent design studio bringing handcrafted textiles to the forefront of seasonless collections. With nature's resources in mind, the merino wool yarn was carefully selected to minimise the footprint of the final garment and have techniques incorporated to eliminate waste. Made with no seams, the dress was created with the goal of naturally "taking the yarn for a walk" to make the clothing that feels instinctive to wear.
