"Laimė" means "luck" in Lithuanian. The vest's cable was inspired by our Baltic roots and pagan symbols that our ancestors believed to bring good fortune. Her seriously soft yarn could have been spun by Baltic faeries (using their fav blend of Mohair and Silk) and her oversized fit is perfect for seasonless layering. Soft to the touch and wrinkle-resistant, look closely to spot her subtle, traditional Lithuanian patterns, spinning folk stories of mythical animals and nature. Runs true to size. Recommended to take your normal size. It takes 17 hours, almost four full working days, to handcraft the Laimė from start to finish.

Hand-knitted by our artisans

All Laimės vests are entirely hand made by our talented knitters in rural Lithuania. Our "embroidered" version gets an extra upgrade as it is also hand stitched with sea greens and delicate blues. Her embroidery yarn comes from an ecological wool farm in Latvia and is later hand-dyed locally by Raminta, a Lithuanian wool professional using natural dyes from Baltic forests.
