Our hand-knitted Slabada wool pants are pretty special to us. They were designed by lithuanian model Giedrė Dukauskaitė who teamed up with her best friend, Vaida Stankutė, a fellow-model-turned-clinical-psychologist, to design their perfect off-runway knit set that empowered other women. Slabada was named after Giedrė's hometown in rural Lithuania and was inspired by the beautiful landscapes there.

We're climate neutral certified, which means that not only is all of our packaging sustainable, but we also work with non-profits to offset our shipping carbon footprint. We want to make sure you love our pieces as much as we do.     We don't believe in deadstock. This knit is knitted in small batches by our kick-ass knitters. We use limited edition thread from Peru, which has Peru Fair Trade Certification, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used. The best part? You'll get a card with your order telling you exactly who knitted your garment and a little about them.

Our contribution

Every purchase of a Slabada knit funds either an hour-long psychologist consultation for a woman looking to leave an abusive relationship or a domestic violence survivor's stay at a safehouse. All donations will be made to Vilnius Women's House Crisis Center, a non-profit providing specialized complex help for women experiencing violence in Lithuania.
