It takes 32 hours, four full working days, to handcraft the Slėniai from start to finish. The irregular cables of our Slėniai Sweater mimic the rise and fall of the Lithuanian hills that inspired its name. Hand-knitted from premium certified merino wool, this V-neck sweater is naturally chunky with a stretchy texture, ensuring warmth during the colder months.

The V-neckline adds a polished touch, while the wide knit trim exudes modern-varsity vibes. Designed with a slightly oversized, drop-shoulder fit, this piece nails the relaxed vibe. It looks great layered over leggings or straight pants. The sweater is slightly oversized, adding to its cozy, laid-back appeal.

  • CUSTOMIZATIONS

    Handmade means made for you. We offer free customisations for most of our handmade products. If you choose a custom color, please allow up to 10 extra working days for us to finish your knit. We'll let you know by email once it's on the way.

    Colour: Seasalt, Poppy Red, Nettle, Silver Grey, as well as Stock Service Colour, available from the supplier. Additional embroidery is available on the cables.
    Length: Can be extended/shortened by 3–5 cm. The neckline can be changed to a round neck or a high neck.

The RWS-certified yarn is sourced from our supplier in Italy, who produce high-quality, sustainable products. What does that look like? Unshrinkable merino yarn. And that’s exactly what we used to make the Slėniai, so you know that she’ll stand the test of time. Plus, they’re a zero impact company, so pretty much ALL of their production is powered by sustainable energies. Pretty cool, right? 

NOTES FROM OUR DESIGN TEAM

This collection is a continuation of our journey exploring the symbolic elements of the Lithuanian folk poem “Eglė the Queen of Serpents” but this time we are focusing on her and building our version of the “knotty” heroine. Driven by the heartbreak and betrayal she turns to nature to gain the strength.
