Hand-finished

With its boxy unisex feel, Sutemos is our modern take on traditional Baltic crochet pieces. We've created a textile that's transparent enough for summer's hot days, yet covers enough skin to avoid feeling too exposed. "Sutemos" means "after dark" in Lithuanian, and she's ready to keep you cozy long after sunset. Featuring a handcrafted crochet flower accent.

  • SUSTAINABILITY

We don't believe in deadstock. All of our Sutemos pants are produced in small batches at our partner factory in Lithuania.

The flower accent is crocheted by hand by our team of knitters, mostly stay-at-home moms in rural areas of Lithuania.

For this knit we opted for 100% organically grown cotton yarn, with no microplastics and no harmful or irritant chemicals used. Certified organic by ICEA. The buttons are made from corrozo seeds and are plastic-free.

The best part? You'll get a card with your order telling you exactly who knitted your garment and a little about them.

NOTES FROM OUR DESIGN TEAM

Our latest arrivals embark on a nostalgic journey into the carefree days of childhood, inspired by the timeless connection between our Baltic heritage and nature's embrace. Drawing from the enchantment of wild swimming under the night sky, we delved into the Lithuanian folktale of "Eglė, The Queen of Serpents," finding resonance in its themes of togetherness and reverence for the natural world. Through intricate knit stitches echoing rippling water and braiding patterns reminiscent of traditional rituals — mirroring the sisters bathing in the lake in the folktale — our new pieces evoke the essence of summer's magic.
