Named after the serene Ūla river, where we cherished our childhood days swimming in its cold waters, then wrapping ourselves in knits to warm up, this handmade knit evokes the nostalgia of our Baltic roots. With a graceful mock neck and intricate traveling cables that ebb and flow like the very river it honors, Ūla is a heartfelt tribute to the natural beauty of the Baltics.

Please note that Ūla knit is made-to-order.  The production timeline encompasses up to 14 working days for our skilled knitters to meticulously craft your sweater and for us to efficiently process your order.

What's better than a sustainably sourced knit? A sustainably sourced knit with free worldwide shipping and free exchanges. If for some reason you'd like to return a piece altogether, we'll always accept unworn, unwashed and unaltered knits with original tags attached. Head to our FAQ for more details.

For this knit, we blended the coziest, cashmere-like Merino wool and OEKO-TEX® certified cotton.
Merino wool is proudly certified as cruelty-free. OEKO-TEX® cotton certification means it's safe from an ecological point of view and don't release any harmful substances. We source this specific yarn from Italy, where it's spun and dyed in-house by our Italian suppliers. No microplastics, no harmful chemicals—just pure, snug goodness.
Each piece is then hand-knit by our talented artisans, taking 6-7 days and using just the right amount of yarn needed to complete the piece—resulting in zero waste. We keep only a handful in stock, ensuring no deadstock.

Handmade by our artisans

We're seriously proud of the knitters team we've gathered. Some work full time, others knit when they have time after taking care of their families. Currently, we have around 70 hand-knitters who work from home in rural Lithuania and two vetted, audited, family-run, female-founded partner production factories. And the best part? Each sweater comes signed by your knitter so you can get to know her a little better.
